Happy Friday, Highwater Fam!

First of all we would like to officially announce that Susan Echols-Orton has been cast as Gloria in So You Want To Marry My Daughter! I had the pleasure of working with Susan on my last picture, The Deliverance of Amy Stronghold. (Click on the link for a free gift) She's very talented, and can always make me laugh, with a little smirk, or a raised eyebrow. Gloria is Wayne's mother-in-law, who brings a touch of wisdom to the family, but mostly just acts like the 5th teenage daughter, making Wayne's life even more complicated! I know you'll love her character, and performance. She's one of my favorites. We have more auditions being prepared right now that I am very excited to see! Stay tuned! Marketing the First Look continues. It's very expensive to market online so we need your help to spread the word. We are looking for a combination of 2,000 Super Fans of Christian films to pre-purchase 50 digital copies for $1,000, 20,000 true fans to pre-purchase 5 copies for $100, and 20 churches to adopt us as their movie ministry outreach, and everything in between! Thank you for your generosity! Our home church where we attend, Horizon Community Church, is our first supporting church, so we are looking for 19 more churches that stand for Biblical marriage. If you attend a church that you believe would love to be apart of this movie, please let me know. April and I are also meeting with local marketing agencies to reach our core audience.

On our last project, The Deliverance of Amy Stronghold, we simply created a great movie and sold it to Pure Flix! This time we are fundraising, marketing, filmmaking and distributing directly to the fans of Christian films, in an attempt to reach a greater audience. Our heart is to empower cast and crew in our industry, by creating amazing content, and paying them competitively so that they can provide for their families, hence our $2M production budget. Going from gig to gig is a challenging faith-filled life. Thank you for your part in giving to this project monthly via Highwater Movie Club or by Pre-Purchasing. Pray for marketing strategy for us and spread the word. This little comedy has a powerful, relevant message about marriage that the world desperately needs to hear.
