Is your wife far away? Mine sure is...

My daughter Adalie took this picture yesterday of April in the Great Salt Lake Desert. They will be home this evening and our family will be together again. Being separated from my girls this week was the fuel I needed to finish up the third draft of my screenplay, So You Want To Marry My Daughter, which is now available for you to read on Highwater Movie Club and for those who Pre-Purchased the film. I wrote about how a father can't hold onto his children too tightly. They are a gift from the Lord and must be sent off to live the life God's called them too. This next movie is very dear to our hearts because we are living it! April and I also believe other parents need encouragement in this area as well. How to raise children that love Jesus and teach them all we know about life and then release them to go live it. And boys, what's our plan with these boys that are beginning to notice our daughters? Don't you wish your parents had better resources to equip you before you began dating? This film will be a great tool for families to watch together and open up discussions about what the Bible says about dating. We are ready to make it! Our next task is to film our "First Look" of a scene from the movie in order to cast vision to the fans of Christian films so they will Pre-Purchase their digital copy. We need to double our budget from our last film and raise $500k to honor our cast and crew. Will you pray for the Lord to double our resources? Instead of 10k a month during production, 20K. Instead of one camera, two cameras to double our coverage. Instead of 50 people giving monthly, 100! Lord will you confirm this next project by doubling our resources? April and Adalie drove through the small town of Jackpot, Nevada this morning declaring financial breakthrough for this movie. Three years ago we received our first $5k monthly donation for The Deliverance of Amy Stronghold, while driving home through this town and it didn't stop until the movie was complete! Praise the Lord! Will you do it again Lord? Will you double it?
