Green Light At The Red Sea is the message I've been studying this week by Steven Furtick. Essentially we have been given the green light by Jesus to launch Highwater Movie Club to create Christian media to build the Kingdom and He has told us to quickly pack our things. Now we stand at the edge of the Red Sea waiting for Him to reveal how to cross over to the other side into our destiny. This will be our 7th move since May 2015 and they have not gotten any easier. Our destination may be unclear today but our resolve in our God is strong. Kylia was given this verse a couple weeks ago right after we received the news that we needed to move. 2 Samuel 7:10 "Moreover I will appoint a place for my people Israel, and will plant them, that they may dwell in a place of their own and move no more; nor shall the sons of wickedness oppress them anymore, as previously." When my daughter gave me that verse I honestly didn't think much of it until last Sunday night, Holy Spirit reminded me of this Word and challenged me to claim it for our family. "The Lord will appoint a place for the Himes Family! The Lord will plant us in a place of our own and move no more and our enemies will no longer oppress us!" Yes Lord I receive! I made some images of the verse and shared them with my family to remind us of this promise. The next day Denise Reed called me, our inspiration for Amy Stronghold, and confirmed this word and told me to hang on to it because I would need to. That's exciting but also means the road ahead will be challenging. Will you believe with us? This we know, the work of our hands has been established and confirmed by your faithful giving. We have so much production work on our plate my soul aches to begin creating media that will draw people into a personal relationship with Jesus and this move delays that and that frustrates me. Adalie leaves for YWAM next week, September 23rd and that challenges all my emotions. She's my first born and more courageous than me to go to the ends of the earth to share the gospel. She has narrowed it down to three countries, Jordan, Georgia and Guinea-Bissau! Pray for her as she begins the greatest adventure or her life! All I know to do is worship.
