This week cameras flew and tires rolled through the hills of Dundee, OR in our 1970 VW Beetle, "Buttercup", provided by Kathy Chaney. I was concerned about the weather this week because we experienced thunderstorms on Tuesday night. However, God heard our prayers and we woke up at dawn on Thursday to clear skies! I knew our drone pilot would be pleased with the conditions when we saw hot air balloons soaring through the sky as we drove to our location. If you look carefully you will see them in our aerial shots in the distance. Casey Overcamp at Stratoscape, did a terrific job piloting the drone! Every angle was smooth and cinematic. I enjoyed collaborating with him. April road shotgun with the walkie-talkie guiding Kathy as she drove. Adalie and Zoie captured Behind the Scenes, which will premiere next week on Highwater Movie Club. Leilani brought smiles, and enjoyed her pancakes at the end of the shoot. Winderlea Vineyards graciously provided our basecamp, which is right where we needed to be to capture our beautiful opening title sequence for our faith-based comedy, So You Want To Marry My Daughter, starring Robert Amaya, Raphael Ruggero and Hailey Julia!

The next step is pre-production for our First Look shoot on September 27th! Lots of planning is under way, as we schedule flights for our actors, put a crew together, book lodging, and prep our location house for filming, to capture one moment from our story. Our First Look is to inspire the true fans of Christian films to pre-purchase their digital copy. Are you already inspired? Pre-sales have begun!
