Jesus & John: A Sixty-Six Episode Cinematic Journey to Discover Jesus in Every Book of the Bible!

Imagine the incredible moment when, after His resurrection, Jesus walked alongside two disciples on the road to Emmaus, revealing the divine threads woven throughout the Scriptures. Luke 24:27 tells us, "And beginning with Moses and all the Prophets, he interpreted to them in all the Scriptures the things concerning himself." This profound teaching was one of Jesus' last on earth before His ascension, illuminating how He can be found in every part of the Bible. Now, it's our time to bring these powerful stories to life through the art of filmmaking, sharing this revelation with the world in a whole new way!

Our narrative begins with John, now an aged apostle, grappling with the task of writing his Gospel. It's been over 60 years since he last saw Jesus ascend into the heavens. Filled with longing for his friend, Savior, and King, John decides to seek inspiration from the very beginning. Opening the scroll of Genesis, he starts his meticulous search for signs of the Messiah. To his profound amazement, John discovers his Lord in every book, like hidden treasures waiting to be unveiled.

Each episode commences with a captivating prologue that summarizes the book's essence. John's emotional and spiritual journey unfolds as he finds Jesus time and again, building towards the pivotal moment when he is destined to write his own Gospel. Act 3 of our series showcases the persecution of the heroic John as he passionately reveals how to live in relationship with Jesus, covering the remaining books from Acts and culminating in the grand finale, The Revelation of Jesus Christ.

"Jesus & John" will premiere in theaters worldwide, followed by releases on digital platforms, DVD, and eventually for free on the Highwater App in multiple languages, ensuring the complete story of Jesus reaches every corner of the globe.

Highwater has nurtured this project for over 25 years since Seth received his calling into the ministry of filmmaking with Jesus. Now, the time has come to move forward in faith. We are seeking partners—individuals, businesses, ministries, or churches—to invest $100 per month into Highwater Entertainment until the series is complete (To empower artists and impact movie audiences worldwide by partnering with Jesus!). Investors will receive 120% of the initial profits, followed by an equitable 50/50 split for the lifetime of the shares purchased.

Production

Our production pipeline begins with our experienced writing team crafting all 66 episodes, each 60+ pages/minutes in length. Once the series is written, we will build sets, hire crew and cast, and commence production until the series is complete. The series will be released weekly for 66 weeks, ensuring an efficient production process and a steady flow of content.

The tone of the episodes will be family-friendly, generally rated PG for thematic elements. The fast-paced, easy-to-understand storyline will engage audiences of all ages and translate well across multiple languages, spreading the message of Jesus to all.

Mobilizing the Church

Each episode will feature a key verse, with special perks for those who memorize and recite it. Accompanying Bible studies, devotionals, and merchandise will further enhance the experience.
